An Intimate Elopement in Paris

Many people dream of a Paris getaway. But why settle for a simple ceremony in the City of Lights when you could have an intimate elopement in one of its magnificent gardens?

Paris elopements are becoming increasingly popular, and with good reason. They can be low-key and intimate, leaving you free to focus on your love for each other. You won’t find yourself worrying about details like seating arrangements or what kind of wedding cake to choose. And who wouldn’t want to spend their wedding day among flowers and trees?

With so many gorgeous  Paris elopement locations to choose from, it can feel overwhelming when trying to narrow down your options. That’s why I’ve compiled this list of some of my favorite places for an intimate Paris elopement – from hidden gardens, tucked away around the city center; to secret spots on the outskirts that require a little more effort to reach. To learn more about how to elope in Paris, read on!

The Medici Fountain at the Luxembourg Gardens

This is quite a popular choice for an intimate Garden elopement. The garden has a beautiful fountain, lovely pathways, and plenty of greenery to make it feel like the perfect spot to say “I do.”

The Tuileries Gardens

It is located in the heart of Paris, so it’s a popular choice for many couples. The park has lots of space and offers plenty of opportunities for taking some of the most breathtaking photos. The Tuileries Garden also provides a great view of the Louvre Museum, adding to the place’s luxurious feel.

The Jardin des Plantes

This beautiful space is hidden in the 5th arrondissement near the Seine River, I love this place for its beautiful summer colors (its name means the Flower’s Garden!) so if you want to get out of the classic white dress, it’s definitely worth looking!

I was honored to officiate many garden elopement ceremonies celebrating every couple’s holy union. The brides and the grooms were both thrilled to celebrate their inexhaustible love for each other – and it showed! Their joy was contagious, making me feel like I was witnessing the most unique ceremonies I’ve ever officiated!

It’s always amazing to see how much love two people can have for each other, and it’s a privilege to be able to help them celebrate that love.

I hope this guide has helped you make an informed decision about planning your own intimate Paris elopement.
